Dez is a half-human, half-oni and the new girl at Kamithos High School: a school for monster children. In a world where monsters are scarce, students must learn to assimilate the appearance and behavior of humans in order to survive. There, Dez not only has to make sense of this world she lives in, but also the duality of her nature.
